An expressive, tender, and poignant setting of three love poems by John G. Neihardt, author of Black Elk Speaks and Poet Laureate in Perpetuity of Nebraska. The work (originally for baritone voice, flute, clarinet, viola, and cello, and available for purchase in its original form on this site )was commissioned by the Nebraska Chamber Players and premiered at the John G. Neihardt State Historic Site and at the University of Nebraska.
